澳門網球總會乃澳門網球界之代表,負責與本地官方及外地有關機構聯繫,亦負起推廣、發展及向外宣傳本地網球的工作。目前擁有十二個屬會。
總會每年主辦澳門網球錦標賽、澳門網球公開賽及澳門網球聯賽,吸引了本地及鄰近地區的網球愛好者參加,每項賽事的人數超過二百多人。

1st Day 6th August 2012 Monday



We started with our breakfast at 7:00 am then at 8:20 am the Macau Junior Team were mixed with other players doing their warm-up for 40 minutes. At 9:00 am the MJT did their physical test, which includes running, agility movements, stamina and power. By 10:30 am MJT had to be tested by their tennis skills; forehand and backhand groundstroke, forehand and backhand volleys, overhead smash and serve. There were 3 Belgian coaches that took care of the MJT and one of them was the famous coach of former world no. 1, Justine Henin. The coaches evaluated each of our players’ skills and will be mixed with other players more or less of the same level that is also in the academy.

At 12:30 pm the MJT had their lunch at the campus restaurant and at 2:00 pm their back in the court with other players doing drills and physical fitness and conditioning.

As what I had observed only for the first day of training, there is so much difference in training compared to the previous camp that we had experienced. 6th Sense Tennis Academy has more tennis and physical coaches that are looking after every player.

Our team finish today’s training with a cool down and muscle stretching at 5:00 pm. We will have our dinner from 6:00 pm and be ready for another training schedule tomorrow.

The boys will start running at 6:00 am tomorrow before breakfast and the girls will start their training at 8:20 am.



It was a tough day of training for our team but I am sure they will get use to it in a couple of days.



Tuesday, August 7, 2012



The boys started running with some other players inside and outside the academy at 6:00 am for 45 minutes. Had their breakfast at 7:15 am and by 8:20 am they assembled at the tennis court for the warm up session. MJT were mixed with other players, some of them did the fitness and conditioning first while the other did groundstroke drills, volleys, serves and did team singles with points for 1 hour and 30 minutes. By 10:30 am MJT has to switch exercises and drills for another 1 hour and 30 minutes.

We had lunch at 12:30 pm until 1:00 pm. and by 1:45 pm they were back at the tennis court for an hour and a half physical fitness and an hour and a half of training their groundstroke and their consistency. MJT finished today’s training at 5:00 pm. We ate our dinner at 6:15 pm and right after dinner we went outside the campus to buy some groceries. By 8:30 pm everyone is already at their respective rooms and ready to sleep.



Wednesday, August 8, 2012



MJT had their breakfast at 7:30 am and as usual routine, warm up at 8:20 am for 40 minutes. At 9:00 am half of the MJT, Jamie, Jade, Myron and Marco started with tennis drills and movements on the court while the other half, Mingo, Dion, Vani and Simone did their physical training in the gym. They did core exercises, wrist, arms, leg and shoulder exercises to prevent from future injuries.

By 10:30 am they switch training, half of them had their groundstroke baseline drills, volley, serve and overhead smash and the other half of the team did physical and power training. They all finish with a cool down at 11:50 am.

We had our lunch at 12:15 pm at the campus restaurant. Jamie, Jade, Myron and Marco had a longer break this afternoon. They were told to be at the field for physical exercises at 3:00 pm while Dion, Mingo, Vani and Simone started their training on the tennis court at 2:00 pm. They were using resistance rubber, skipping rope, medicine balls, cones and ladders in the court. They spent 2 hours and a half of power and agility and movements on the court and by 4:30 pm they had a little bit of fun doing interactive games together with other players.



Jamie, Jade, Myron and Marco finished their physical training early today.

After dinner at 7:00 pm the team had a little stroll around the campus. They are not complaining anymore about their sore muscles unlike the second day.



Thursday, August 9, 2012



It is a very fine day with lots of sunshine and as usual the MJT had their breakfast at 7:30 am at the campus restaurant. They were at the tennis court doing warm-ups at exactly 8:20 am, and by 9:00 MJT were divided into to groups. Jamie, Jade, Myron and Marco did groundstroke drills, forehand and backhand cross-courts with depth and consistency, aggressive forehand and backhand volleys. They usually practice those drills with points to motivate themselves.

The other half of the team had their physical, coordination, balance and core training outdoor. They were doing the exercises in circuits which the fitness coach will time their exercise and then they will switch to another kind of exercise after a minute or two. By 10:30 am, MJT has to switch training, half of the team did physical, fitness and conditioning while the other half did tennis drills.

We had our lunch at 12:15 pm and by 2:00 pm MJT were back again for training. Half of the team did power, core and balance training indoor at the academy’s gym room while the other half did tennis drills under the scorching heat of the sun for 1 hour and 30 minutes. By 3:30 pm MJT switched training activities. Dion, Mingo, Simone and Vani did power, core and balance training at the gym room while Jamie, Jade, Myron and Marco did tennis drills and matches. MJT finished today’s training at 5:00 pm, went to their rooms and relax waiting for dinner.

We all had our dinner at 6:45 pm then after, the boys decided to go to the pool just to cool down with a little bit of fun, while the girls just walked around the campus. At 8:45 pm everyone is already inside their respective rooms and ready to sleep.



Friday, August 10, 2012



MJT started with their breakfast before 8:00 am and had a little bit of time to relax and get ready for the 5th day of training.

8:20 am is their usual time for warm-ups and by 9:00 am MJT were split into two groups. Jamie, Jade, Myron and Marco did training for fitness and endurance at the gym room together with other players and 2 fitness coaches. The other half of the team did tennis drills and matches for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

By 10:30 am MJT switches exercises and training for another hour and 30 minutes.

We had lunch at 12:30 pm and after eating, the team had a little rest before going back to the court for the afternoon session.

At 2:00 pm, Jamie, Jade, Myron and Marco together with other players played football at the campus lawn for an hour and 30 minutes. The other half of the team continued their tennis drills and matches also with other players then they switched activities at 3:30 pm. They all finished at 5:00 pm and I have asked them to get ready at 6:30 pm for dinner, this time we will go out and eat in a Chinese restaurant.

We will have our last training session tomorrow morning and will leave 6th Sense Tennis Academy at 1:00 pm.



Our flight from Beijing to Macau will be at 4:10 pm, August 11, 2012 and will arrive at Macau International Airport at 8:10 pm.
